CUB - Assistant Facilitator - Call-Out

We are looking for an Assistant Facilitator to join our mini-tour of Cub in spaces across Wigan and Leigh.

About the Role

Fee: £1,350 (8 days at £150/day)

Dates: Wednesday 8 October, Saturday 11 October and Monday-Saturday 13 - 18 October 2025.

We are looking for an Assistant Facilitator to work with us on a mini-tour of an audio story, den experience titled Cub. Working with the Producer and Facilitator, you will assist us to set-up, present and pack-down Cub at the Wigan Climate Summit, public sessions at Wigan and Leigh libraries and at libraries across the borough for schools sessions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Producer and Facilitator to set-up the den and technical equipment at each venue

  • Welcome families and school groups to the experience (Years 3-5)

  • Facilitating light activities to accompany the audio-story main experience

  • Gathering evaluation data via day reports and audience feedback surveys

Key requirements:

  • Confident and happy working with children and young people

  • Enhanced DBS

  • Able to travel to libraries Tyldesley, Golborne, Standish, Wigan and Leigh
